Director of Ad Sales - Digital

The focus of this role is to deliver TV & Digital Advertising Sales revenue and ensure client solutions are sold across all channels, platforms and countries.


Reporting into the VP Adsales UK/EMEA, you will be responsible for developing new Digital revenue opportunities

The Role


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with Group Account Director – TV to create a strategy to deliver and drive Advertising Revenue for TV & Digital ensuring annual targets are achieved and exceeded across all platforms and territories
  • Develop new Digital revenue opportunities
  • Drive revenue across local and pan-Regional TV feeds plus digital platforms, primarily FoodNetwork.co.uk
  • Motivate team of 3 to deliver revenue targets and successfully implement campaigns
  • Manage and nurture relationships with Digital Adsales Houses, external Media Agencies and clients
  • Develop creative advertising solutions and pitches to clients
  • Manage clients and support the implementation of Ad campaigns
  • Support in budgeting and forecasting
  • General Support to VP Adsales and SVP Commercial UK/EMEA.


Person Specification


Requirements:

  • A proven track record of creating Ad revenue strategies across Digital, and TV but nit essential
  • A proven track record of selling and delivering Advertising revenue targets
  • Extensive experience within the Digital Advertising market
  • Some experience in TV Advertising industry and understanding the sales proposition
  • Ability to motivate a sales team
  • Capability to think creatively around advertising solutions
  • Capacity to build strong productive relationships with external and internal colleagues and clients
  • Strong sense of initiative and creative problem solving
  • Ability to work flexibly in a small team and think laterally to drive revenue
  • An ability to adapt to different markets and cultures across EMEA
  • The candidate must be prepared to travel abroad when required
  • Finally in this small busy team you must be able to multi-task, work unattended, remain calm under pressure and work within tight deadlines.


Experience requirements:

  • Digital: 5 years
  • Ad Sales: 7 years.
