Sales Director - Broadcast & TV Platforms Europe
The Sales Director Broadcast and TV platforms Europe will be responsible for growing Deluxe media supply chain and distribution business across Europe, and especially Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

About the Sales Team


The Sales Team is a team working directly with the Senior Vice President of EMEA Sales. 


The team is tasked with growing the Deluxe business with Studios, Distributors, Broadcasters and Platforms across the whole Deluxe solutions and services portfolio in Europe and in the Middle East.


The Sales team is the driving force behind which the European and US organisations line up to power Deluxe expansion. 


The Sales Team is composed of talented individuals who hunt and lead engagements, manage accounts and close deals with autonomy and drive at executive levels with the largest Global TV and Media groups.


The sales team is responsible for creating a strong sales pipeline and provide precise reporting about it.


The team works under common sales processes and makes sure the deals pursued are contributing to Deluxe objectives in terms of top line and profitability.


The team works very closely with the pre sales and product organisations and engages with colleagues from around the world to ensure the International sales strategy and actions align to global strategies.


The team are critical influencers of senior executives across the world, and get exposure to a breadth of experience and support from the global leadership team.

This role will provide extensive exposure to the Senior Vice President of Sales EMEA, and to senior leadership across the business, globally.

This role will be a perfect fit for someone who has been working for a software/ hardware vendor, a service provider to Broadcasters and TV platforms across the German, French, Spanish and Italian markets.


Job Rationale


The Sales Director Broadcast and TV platforms Europe will be responsible for growing Deluxe media supply chain and distribution business across Europe and especially Germany, France, Spain and Italy.


The Sales Director will be a key contributor to the elaboration of the Sales Strategy and Tactics to achieve Deluxe ambitions in the region.


The Sales Director will lead and own opportunities from conception/joint business foundation, through to deal closing & concluding contract negotiations.


Main responsibilities:

  • Drive business development activities to generate new sales leads. Build a funnel of opportunities in line with Deluxe sales strategy and profitability targets
  • Establish sales strategies and tactics to win deals. Obtain all internal approvals required to close the deals. Develop negotiation strategies and tactics for the entire engagement.
  • Identify and engage C-level decision makers to accelerate sales cycle.
  • Develop and own the proposals in alignment with Deluxe strategy and profitability requirements
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives around product marketing and product management.
  • Participate in the development of the broadcast and platform services offering including for example strategy development, partnering discussions and work-shops
  • Align offering with other parts within Deluxe
  • Provide visibility on the business via accurate reporting. Create and track sales forecast and sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Act as Deluxe ambassador to industry events.


About You


You will have:

  • 5 - 10 years of Broadcast and Media sales experience in Europe, especially around media supply chain and distribution
  • Proven track record of 6 digits minimum deals closed with Tier 1 companies
  • Solid network of contacts within the European broadcast and media industry
  • Self-starter attitude with entrepreneur mindset
  • A consultative approach to sales, selling business case based solutions to C-level executives
  • Strong presentation skills both in creating and delivering presentations and proposals to customers
  • Good degree of numeracy and understanding of financial metrics and performance
  • Team work & collaboration skills
  • Full existing working rights for the EU.
