Home Entertainment - Senior Product Manager, Catalogue

As owners of one of the largest and most important film libraries in the world, with more than 5,000 diverse and varied international titles, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join the Home Entertainment team.

Role Overview:

Soon to relocate to brand new offices in the St Pancras complex, we seek a highly experienced collaborative individual with extensive film knowledge and background.



  • Development and management of marketing plans for catalogue releases, which encompasses; restorations, special editions, re-issues and boxsets.
  • Planning product release strategy with Head of Marketing, Senior Catalogue Project Manager and General Manager; including packaging, pricing and coordinating digital strategy with digital sales team
  • Collaborate with relevant members of Theatrical Marketing and Senior Catalogue Project Manager on re-issues throughout life cycle to maximise opportunities
  • Oversee sleeve/packaging design and release sku strategy: briefing of designers and production spec, managing of approvals with talent and International department and co-ordinating supply of artwork to printers and digital platforms
  • Manage the budget for each release: planning solus spend, liaising with sales team to maximise retail co-op opportunities, negotiating costs, and raising POs
  • Brief the media agency on each campaign based on an approved budget to push both physical and digital products
  • Oversee design/production of marketing materials: press, TV& radio ads, online advertising, posters, flyers, postcards, etc.
  • Brief, supply tools and manage external PR, Promotion and Social Media teams to get the most cost effective, relevant and extensive coverage for each title
  • Present product details and release plans to physical and digital sales team and retailers/services on a Quarterly basis
  • Oversee and analyse campaign activity through detailed PCAs.



  • Management of existing brands (including Vintage Classics);
  • Oversee social comms and manage media and brand growth across physical and digital
  • Work closely with physical and digital sales team and alongside full Home Entertainment Marketing team on retail/service planning to ensure full exploitation of catalogue to maximise revenue
  • Collaborate with International Catalogue team and Op-cos on artwork, content and marketing strategies across territories
  • Online: aid with the day-to-day running of the Home Entertainment section of company website, social media platforms, database and newsletter
  • Research: assist in sales tracking and ad hoc sales trend reports and report management, managing delegation where applicable.



Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Education:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in film Marketing within a Film Distribution Company
  • Extensive, broad and varied film knowledge
  • Catalogue marketing experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good strategic understanding of UK media
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional skill in building relationships
  • Strong attention to detail.
