MAM Engineer
VDMS ingest, post, process, localise and deliver thousands of premium TV programmes and films to broadcasters and high profile video on demand platforms. 

In order to elevate our company into the top tier of global media supply chain we require the right person to help support and maintain our MAM system.  

About the role

The role is a new position in the Business Systems department.  We are looking for an individual who will bring a passion for Media Asset Management to the company, championing the benefits to both clients and colleagues.


Areas of responsibility:

  • Work with the Director of Business Systems, and the Systems Manager to help define future improvements to the MAM and other internal systems.
  • Help to improve Automation across the Operations Team, working with both Business Systems and Operations to streamline the Digital Media Supply Chain for both colleagues and clients.
  • Work with the Sales and Client Services teams in providing demos of the MAM system to existing and potential clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day support of the MAM system via an internal ticketing system, using the issues raised as opportunities to educate colleagues, and improve their interaction with the system.
  • Help provide ‘Super User’ training to Operations and Client Services, so they can then train their teams via “train the trainer” methodology.
  • Raise and track issues with the MAM vendor, providing additional information when needed, and validating solutions when provided.
  • Create, run and maintain test plans to cover the testing of company functionality during the upgrade of internal systems.

Essential skills:

  • Experience in Telestream Vantage
  • Experience in Tedial Evolution
  • Experienced in APIs, Metadata, XML and XSLT.
  • Testing software.


Desirable skills:

  • Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • Familiar with Film and TV industry.
  • Knowledge of Digital Supply Chain and Workflows.
  • Experience of Atlassian tool set.
