The Role

Contract Management Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contracts on client paperwork and draft TCB agreements
  • Draft acquisition agreements and negotiate with clients’ with regards to rights and clauses
  • Commercial awareness is essential of UK and International markets
  • Review and approve Acquisitions Offers with regards to BA issues
  • Manage the contracts process ensuring a quick turnaround from contract to signature including creating and implementing processes for both distribution and sales contracts providing reporting to management on contracts closing
  • Work closely with Commercial and Business Affairs director on global deals and managing the rights position
  • Manage the Distribution Agreement process providing weekly progress reporting on close dates of DAs
  • Manage the Sales agreement process providing weekly progress reporting on close dates of sales agreements
  • Rights System Super User – responsible for business rules for rights system and training BA team
  • Input Acquisition Distribution and sales contracts into Rights management System
  • Assist sales team with rights queries
  • Close business in line with company targets
  • Be assigned a region or territory that they will be responsible for knowing and learning about, i.e., nuances to the region or channel, the rights languages etc. Working closely with the Sales person to obtain and track this information
  • Developing relationships with Producers and Broadcasters in line with the TCB philosophy.

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you must have considerable experience in a relevant role within the media / entertainment sectors.

Remuneration package: Competitive, and dependent on experience
