Media Planning Manager

We have a unique opportunity to take on a brand new role as On Air Planning Manager - Media Planning.


This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, based in West London.


Candidates must have extensive experience in TV media planning, ideally gained within another international multi-channel broadcaster.

Job Introduction

Our client, a major international multi-channel broadcaster, are recruiting for a brand new role for an experienced TV Media Planner.

 

This role requires someone with strong strategic media planning experience along with creative media planning skills.


This role requires extensive experience within a TV media planning background and ideally from another international multi-channel broadcaster.

 

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Planning and Head of Creative you will create, brief, and manage, on-air promotion campaigns that optimise resources and deliver effective results.

 

Main Duties:

  • To develop and manage a 12 month rolling promo strategy across their portfolio of channels
  • Write creative briefs for all promotions and on-air materials
  • Create Media Plans for on-air promotions that optimise air-time and creative resources and deliver results
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that key promotables are aligned across business and meet strategic needs
  • Act as main point of contact for all on-air enquiries, ensuring campaigns are communicated effectively and delivered on time
  • Review Campaigns with key stakeholders to analyse effectiveness against performance
  • Manage creation of on-air navigation and branding elements
  • Research trends, conduct competitor analysis
  • Create monthly make-lists across channels and feeds
  • Brief scheduling teams on media planning best practice.

About You
Key Skills & Experience:

This is a stand alone role, with no direct reports, which requires the successful candidate to be able to work autonomously and be responsible for the commissioning and planning of key on-air promotions across their portfolio of channels.

 

Strong experience as TV Media Planner is key.  Ideally you will also have international channel experience, but non-international experience will also be considered.
