Custom Content Video Producer
We need an incredibly talented Video Producer to create custom content for some of the most exciting brands in the world.

The Role


The custom content video producer will lead ideation, production and analysis of sponsored UK video content. 

Sitting within the marketing team, the successful candidate will work closely with editorial and commercial teams to ensure projects meet high quality standards and at the same time deliver on client expectations. 

The custom content producer will also play an important role in understanding and adapting video content for a variety of platforms - both current and new.


The Work


  • Brainstorming fun, innovative and interesting content ideas
  • Working with commercial and marketing heads to bring video ideas to life and advise on what is possible within parameters set
  • Self-sufficiently shooting, editing and producing video projects
  • Adapting content or ideas to suit different screens. For example, determine whether a video is suitable to put a on Facebook or whether it needs to be edited to become Facebook-appropriate
  • Reporting on the success of videos produced including view numbers, engagement metrics and understanding why a video was successful / how it could be improved
  • Liaising and working with the editorial team to ensure content ideas and production quality live up to the high standards expected of Ziff Davis products
  • Working with the editorial team to ensure video scheduling timetables are understood by all teams and there are no clashes
  • The type of content to be created includes, but is not limited to, long form content, social media-specific videos, adverts and video series
  • Work across time zones with overseas offices to share knowledge, collaborate on projects and schedule content.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualities and experience:
  • Video production experience 
  • Ability to project manage
  • Have a creative mind and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to set and stick to deadlines 
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and understand the different requirements from each
  • Take a proactive approach to their work and keep up to date with industry and technology changes 
  • Have a passion for video games, movies and fan culture 
  • Experience in digital analytics is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
