Sound Post Producer

We are looking for a fully-fledged Sound Post Producer to start as soon as possible.

Competitive salary offered dependent upon extent of experience.

Principle Responsibilities


Project Management:

You will be the main point of contact for the client (Post-supervisors / Producers) and will oversee and co-ordinate the schedules of our tracklays and mixes, in-house editors and freelancers, mix-technicians and ADR recordists.  

You will need to:

  • Liaise between the various departments (editing, foley, mixing and accounts)
  • Pre-empt and deal-with scheduling clashes or problems
  • Ensure projects are running on time and on budget
  • Flag any extra costs with clients as they arise and pass these onto accounts for billing
  • Respond promptly to clients’ queries and build good relationships with them.


Quoting for new work:

  • You will need the experience and knowledge to discuss requirements of potential new projects with clients and prepare quotes. 


Candidate Profile


  • A minimum of two years' experience in a Sound Post Producer Role.
  • Experience of working on long-form TV Drama and Film projects is essential.
  • Knowledge of Farmers Wife scheduling software an advantage, good working knowledge of Word and Excel essential.
