Production Coordinator

Exciting opportunity to work in the production department of this digital arts platform. 

 

Working closely with the Producer, you will be responsible for the admin, organisation, and secretarial work involved in producing captured theatre performance.

We have been commissioned to capture 10 live theatrical performances over the next 12 months. These captures will represent a cross section of the best that British theatre has to offer. To fully capitalise on this opportunity, we are looking for a talented Production Coordinator with experience in a similar role, along with experience in long form video production.

 

The Role

This is a pivotal role, ensuring that our content output remains best-in-class.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Based in London and reporting to the Producer, you will:

  • Attend production meetings
  • Help to set up the production office with the necessary supplies
  • Organise travel arrangements for cast, crew and production executives
  • Organise accommodation for crew and production executives
  • Type and distribute schedules and/or call sheets
  • Oversee scheduling of projects from conception to delivery
  • Manage the teams shooting & post production schedules
  • Pencil crew and kit for shoots
  • Liaise with external producers and creatives to schedule viewings & meetings
  • Establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide range of internal and external contacts
  • Act as a focal point of contact for the team
  • Please note - some evening & weekend work maybe required.

Candidate Profile

 

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience of working as a Coordinator within a production department
  • Experience in production and post-production work flows
  • Experience of booking audio, edit suites and filming crew
  • Experience in media and broadcast standard equipment would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise conflicting workload efficiently 
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone
  • Stamina, persistence, enthusiasm, motivation and a proactive manner
  • The ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure
  • Initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense and problem-solving skills
  • Sound administrative and organisational skills
  • An interest in and enthusiasm for the work of captured performance.

 

Details

  • This role is initially offered as a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension
  • 21 days annual leave + bank holidays.
