Creative Team Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Creative Team Assistant to join our team.  

You will provide creative, production, and technical support to our in-house creative team.



The Creative team is responsible for the development and execution of a range of content for A+E Networks UK. The team devise and deliver all the on-air and off-air campaigns, short form, branding and promos for History, Lifetime, Crime+Investigation and free-to-air channel BLAZE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film and edit small creative shoots, corporate and PR events as well as behind the scenes projects for creative campaigns
  • Manage and maintain an up to date library of our latest creative promos
  • Supply creative assets for internal departments and external providers to agreed technical specifications
  • Manage and maintain the in-house camera equipment and kit cupboard.  Check kit items in and out using equipment checklist
  • Provide support to the wider creative team including research and reference material, compiling creative reels and awards submission
  • Organise and keep a log of the hard drive library
  • Liaise with creative and tech ops teams to organise encoding of digital shoot rushes
  • Provide creative and technical support to the VP of Creative, Production and Creative teams
  • Assist and contribute to creative projects and initiatives in the Creative department.


Person Specification

You will have:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication and IT skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of digital files formats, encoding files, and ability to create and upload files
  • Experience in filming own projects and basic knowledge of cameras types and formats
  • Some experience of using editing software and post-production knowledge, is desirable
  • A passion for creative work, and a desire to work in a creative production environment
  • The ability to originate and contribute creative ideas to projects
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite, is desirable
  • Experience of working as part of a team and supporting others
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality.
