We are seeking a full-time Runner to work under our Office Manager.
 
This role will suit an outgoing, motivated person with a positive attitude who is not afraid to work in a high volume and fast paced set-up.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

We are seeking a full-time Runner to work under our Office Manager. This role will suit an outgoing, motivated person with a positive attitude who is not afraid to work in a high volume and fast paced set-up.


The position is for a Runner, but the candidate will be expected to cover the reception desk when the receptionist is on lunch and at the end of the day.


The position offers you the chance to work in an exciting media agency environment and have opportunities for future progression of your career. We strive to provide training and opportunities to the successful candidate in the hope that they progress within the company.


THE ROLE

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to important clients and TV Stars
  • Answering a busy switchboard professionally, taking messages and transferring calls
  • Dispatching and collecting items on request both in house and out of house; delivering post and general requests from staff
  • Taking the initiative to manage stocks and supplies, arranging orders where necessary; ensuring refreshments, stationary and general office equipment are all well stocked
  • Keeping reception, rest areas, meeting rooms and office clean, tidy and well presented at all times
  • Welcoming clients and provide refreshments for meetings and clients
  • Providing support to a senior team
  • Assisting all employees with queries and helping to resolve any problems
  • Assisting the office manager with the smooth running of our offices
  • Locking up the building at the end of your shift
  • Ad-hoc office duties

THE SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

  • Background in Media, Film or post production
  • Have good customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Email
  • Have a professional and friendly phone manner
  • Friendly!

DETAILS

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Hours are: 10:30am – 7:00pm
