Editorial Assistant- ETP
ETP, the largest Producer of ‘live’ golf coverage in the world, is seeking an Editorial Assistant.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to start their career in sports production and a ‘live’ outside broadcast environment.

About the Role

ETP is the largest Producer of ‘live’ golf coverage in the world; producing coverage at approximately 45 events annually.  


These events take place in Europe, Asia and South Africa.  Reporting to the Director and Executive Producer, the Editorial Assistant will join the ‘Live’ production team and assisting in the production of all live European Tour Golf programming in the office and on location.


The successful applicant will be trained in a number of junior roles and will start by being responsible for the researching and generating statistical graphics for the live programme. Following on from this they will be trained to produce and edit content for Tournament Television and will learn to PA. They may also be required to carry out other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.


About You

The ideal candidate will have a calm and professional manner when working under pressure and be able to work using their initiative, without close supervision.  Good general sports knowledge and a strong interest in Golf are vital.  


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a live OB environment would be beneficial
  • Good working knowledge of editing with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience of shooting on DV cam would also be desirable
  • Production Health & Safety Training would also be advantageous
  • A full clean driving license is essential as you will be required to operate a Golf buggy.


This role is ideal for someone who wants to start their career in sports production and a ‘live’ outside broadcast environment. Given the demands of the role, candidates must be prepared to travel internationally up to 30 weeks a year.


Please note: Weekend work and long shifts will be required.
